What to know

• To use: center the 4 claws over the weed, press the foot platform down to drive claws into the soil, then lean the handle back toward the lever side. The claws will grip and lift the weed, roots and all.

• The handle splits into three sections that screw together — no tools required. Leave out one section for the 28″ version.

• Works best in moist soil — water the area first or wait after a rain. Dry, hard soil will make any weeder work harder.
