“I really like this camera. It’s build to work best with Samsung Galaxy phones — which is what I have. Samsung should make it usable with other Android phones and improve the feature support on iPhones … they would sell a whole lot more of these. Note that you don’t have to use a phone and app with this camera. The camera captures all images and video to a micro-SD card and it’s possible to download, edit and publish the images and video through 3rd party applications. But it is so much more convenient when you can use your phone as a viewfinder/monitor/controller.

The features and performance for the price are outstanding. There is a little bit of a continuous-focus anomaly that is noticeable at the stitch points between the front and rear lenses when recording video. Some people have criticized that issue pretty heavily and, while I agree that it’s something Samsung should fix, it isn’t a big deal if you’re not trying to use this for professional videography.
